It went to an 18-year-old kid about to be a senior in high school. He said he’s loved Jeeps forever, and his dad had a Cherokee like it. His parents drove it with him, he’s about to get his full license, and He’s in auto shop and says he wants to take engineering. He offered $1000. I said yes. Signed and notarized the title and sent him on his way. I put $20 in gas in it so he could drive home.
Anyway, he said he has plans to build a prerunner. Lifted 2wd with wide wheels and tires, cut fenders, and more powah!

I know. He was born in the waning years of the Clinton administration. That’s not long ago at all. But you know what it was like to be a young enthusiast.

The words “lift”, “power”, and “teenager” make me nervous when combined.
